THE MISSION
CHOCLITEXPRESSIONS is built on Black pride, cultural celebration, self-expression, and the belief that every person deserves to feel like themselves — loudly, boldly, visibly, and unapologetically.

THE CRAFT
I designed my first hoodie in 2004. I started with a simple neck cut, pulled up YouTube videos, and started learning everything there was to learn — then threw the rulebook out and developed ideas entirely on my own.
Over 22 years, that imagination has grown into a full creative language. Every piece is cut, tie-dyed, beaded, trimmed with vinyl, stitched, or inked by my hands. No two are exactly alike.
The techniques: cutting, tie-dyeing, vinyl sayings, bling, patches, ink, embroidery.
THE ORIGIN STORY
It started with a simple want: plus-size women should be able to feel comfortable AND cute at the same time. Not one or the other. Both.
I looked at the hoodie — one of the most age-old items in existence, something that has never gone out of style — and saw something the world had not yet made right. Something that could be inclusive for everyone, across every size, every body, every identity.
So I made it myself.
THE HOODIE PHILOSOPHY
The hoodie is not just a hoodie here. It represents warmth. Security. That feeling of being held. "It's a jacket but not. A fine line between jacket and sweater — and still gets the job done."
It became a blank canvas to me. And that canvas has not stopped speaking since.
